The English department use an online homework platform called Educake. This site will allow us to set homework online, assess pupils’ understanding and enable us to plan for further development.

Students have been provided with their log in details; it is students’ responsibility to ensure they know their log in information and remember their password (that they change from the initial one).  It would be a good idea to take a picture of their log in details on their mobile phone so that if they forget their password, they can still access their account.

You can support your child at home by reminding them that English homework is set online and there will be 3 homework activities each half term. This is true for all year groups. Non-completion of homework will result in a detention but pupils have a half term to complete all three.

If your child is having any issues, then they can see any member of the English department.
