Progress Data

· Whilst there was no progress measure in 2025 and 2026, in 2024 Progress 8 nationally was -0.03, Wirral -0.16 and Pensby High School was +0.28

· Progress 8 +0.28 in 2024: highest non-selective, second highest similar school is +0.03 and we were higher than one grammar

· Boys’ progress in 2024 was +0.14, third highest outright progress for boys on Wirral

· In 2024 students with SEND made progress of +0.45. That is significantly better than SEND students nationally and locally, and all students both locally and nationally

2026 data

· Attainment 8 for 2026 at Pensby High School is 45.94

· Boys’ attainment is 45.4 so that means on average the grade awarded this summer was a pass; we are the only non-selective school to achieve this

· Girls’ attainment is 46.6 again this means that on average every grade awarded is equivalent to a pass and is the highest girls’ attainment figure for a fully non- selective school.

· In terms of disadvantaged students, we have the highest attainment for disadvantaged students is 44.2 as such the average every grade awarded to disadvantaged students is a pass and is the highest attainment figure for disadvantaged students in a fully non- selective school.

· Students with SEND average attainment was 37.10.
